American Way Smokehouse - Chandler

We were twice and were both very satisfied. Your BBQ is solid and cooked fresh daily, pages are delicious, but, honestly, a bit more option. The pastries are great! All freshly baked daily. You have a large bottle of soda selection with some great root beer.

The American Way Smokehouse is one of the hidden treasures that make this city so wonderful! Every time I visit Merchant Square, I can't give the opportunity to pamper some of the best BBQ I had in many years. In addition, the staff is unbelievable as you are treated more like family than a guest. Remarkable thanks to Micah and Alec for always excellent customer service!

Excellent smoked meat and prepared food. The desserts are always fresh and so delicious. The staff goes the extra mile and is more and more friendly! They also have bottles to try the fun. It is a favorite date spot for us to pack some food and search the antique store attached to it.

Wanted to order ribs, but they were out. Decided to wait another time for meat. Ordered Smoked Tri-tip chili and cole slaw to go because needed to get back to work. Waited over 20 minutes to get chili and cole slaw to go. Maybe to have meat would have been worth the wait, but for chili and cole slaw, way to long. I may visit again, to try the ribs, but since there are many other places to eat and experience, it may be awhile. Service matters some. But, great food is the big priority. That said, the cole slaw was ok, but not great. The chili was soupy, had it not been for all the cheese (what's with so much cheese in a chili, I think a quarter of it was cheese), it would have been watery. On second thought, if they can't get the simple things right, I won't waste my time on trying the meats.
