Ihop - Chamblee

Link (Linq) was a fantastic server, the best I've had since the COVID lockdown. He is an asset to the service industry and I appreciate him and the fantastic cook(s)! Great music, great food, and clean. I will be eating here often, because it's way better than fast food! I do miss the lingonberry pancakes, the Frisco melt, and stuffed french toast if that tells you how long since the last time I graced an IHOP, because the one on Roswell is hard to fight for parking, so I haven't been in a decade.

Stopped here from out of town to grab a quick bite with my family. Started off with a great server, and I thought we were going to have a great experience. I ordered my sons food first, and it came out quickly! The rest of the food took 40 minutes, and they forgot my nephews kids smile pancake. We were all almost done eating and still no food. I finally got up and asked, why? Kids' food always comes out first. They said they were short staffed. (So is everywhere else. I can be understanding, but 50 minutes for a kid's food is outrageous. They didn't care. My turkey had advocates that I asked not to have. Looking for a quick lunch, don't stop here. Overworked employees makes for unhappy paying customers. Oh and the place was empty..

It was alright. More than likely would not go back. The registers were down so the check took forever to come, as well as the food. Coffee was nasty but was only drinking it because it was freezing in the restaurant itself. Strawberry syrup was more like red dyed water. Had to make due with regular syrup which is unheard of since I’m used to having my options lol. But my waiter was really nice and accommodating so that’s why I didn’t give just 1 star.

Great service variety of food and this time they were fast and my food was well cooked. The service was fast, and the food was and our order was suprisingly quick to our table. our server was great!!

The food is by no means bad. Im just not huge on breakfast. But the SERVICE is remarkable. Not just a few of the staff but all the staff we interacted with were kind, thoughtful, and very helpful. Our servers name was Marcus, and he was absolutely phenomenal, easily one of the best servers I've ever had an interaction with.
