Bidra med feedbackThe food in this restaurant is certainly not bad (although it didn't deliver the same amazing experience as I've had in some other Michelin star restaurants). The service was a bit unappropriate at times, leading to unnecessary embarrasing moments. When I asked if it would be possible to have wine by the glass with the menu, the waitress said that this is possible and that she would send the sommelier to discuss this. The sommelier never came, so after a while I asked the waitress if she could then recommentd a bottle of white wine. She then pointed to the only two bottles of wine on the page that cost almost €200 (a strange suggestion since we are a young couple), while there where many more reasonably priced options available. I told her that this was above my price range. She then neglected to propose any other options, so after an embarrassing silence I literally had to ask for recommendations in a more reasonable price range. In the end we drank a very good wine that cost €68, but I certainly didn't appreciate the attempt to corner me into ordering the most decadent choice on the menu.
We went to this restaurant on the Easter weekend to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday and we had a fine experience from start to finish. The service was efficient but very discrete. We had a table in a corner of the dining room and we had the impression that we had the place to ourselves. The restaurant has recently received a Michelin start and you can understand why as the quality of the food was superb. I personally appreciated the brill and the pigeon most. My mum said her mother cooked pigeon better and I feel sorry that I never met my gran as it was already cooked to perfection for me. The menu consisted of a starter the veal and foie gras ravioles were the only (slight) disappointment of the night, a fish entrée, a meat and dessert. It seems to be quite a lot but the size of the dishes is not enormous, meaning it was easy to enjoy every part of the meal. If you want to be picky you could say that the chef likes foam a bit too much as we had some with every dish. But at least the nice thing with foam is that it is light and it was always full of flavours. To recap this was a very enjoyable experience for a special occasion.
Enjoyed a young, inventive cuisine full of new flavours. a very good meal and a very good time.
The reception is pleasant and smiling, the efficient service, the setting is very pleasant the kitchen is rather well done but very basic compared to the rates practiced. A mozzarella tomato in a menu at 37 € with entrance, dish and dessert is rather disappointing, we expect better. The facility is still worth the trip
Quality products, a very good reception..For a more than reasonable price. to redo as soon as possible
