Ampm - Ceres

Went to go grab a few things before work this morning 11/3/22 3AM the cashier was very rude and didn’t want to scan my code on my phone he said “next time” that’s the reason I went was for the coupon. He rushed me with only one person standing behind me very bad customer service. He’s the older gentleman he’s been there a while not sure why he has attitude every time I go in there. Maybe I’ll go somewhere else from now on

The new owners don't honor prices they post fake signs it says you buy coffee get a muffin croissant for $1 dollar with purchase of coffee the owners are rude as well I took my service to AM/PM on Mitchell and service they do stay true to their word.

Good place for lower gas prices. Easy and quick place to get some snacks and drinks when you're on the road

Friendly service. Only thing is they close the bathrooms after 9 at night.

However, my recent visit was quite disappointing. I went to check in on the app for my usual soft drink deals and paid for them, only to be confronted by a clerk I wasn’t familiar with. She claimed that my $10 bill was counterfeit! I was shocked and asked her to show me the bill. She had stamped it with "COPY" and accused me of tricking her. I tried to explain that I had received the bill as change and presented my wallet to show that I had plenty of legitimate money. I had just come from the bank and Dollar General before stopping at AmPm. I requested to speak to the manager or to know when someone familiar with me would be there, but she refused to provide any information. Her rudeness was startling, and it felt extremely hurtful to be accused of something criminal. I have never had any kind of criminal record! While I understand that the clerk needed to hold the bill by law if it was counterfeit, I don’t want my good reputation tarnished because I unknowingly used it. The bill was a low denomination, and it was clear I had higher-value bills in my wallet. I am not in need and would never resort to criminal acts. I consider myself an honest and well-mannered person. I work two jobs, including one in a professional capacity, and I have no reason to knowingly pass a fake bill for soft drinks. After this incident, I went back to Dollar General to inform them and showed them my receipt indicating that I received $12.65 in change before visiting AmPm. I wanted to make them aware that I might have been given a counterfeit bill. My next step was to visit the Ceres Police Department to report what happened. I will update this review after I speak with the onsite manager at AmPm about this incident. I have a long list of professional references that can vouch for my good character in the community.
