Bidra med feedbackI went to this restaurant for lunch and asked for their recommendation. They brought me a platter with rice, broth, and various sauces. Everything was delicious, and I appreciated that the milk-based sauces were served separately for those who wanted to avoid them. The restaurant was bustling with locals, and it's easy to see why.
My wife and I found ourselves in the bustling heart of Little India and noticed many locals frequenting this restaurant, so we had to give it a try. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helped us navigate through a delicious array of curries and breads. As an Indian restaurant, they introduced us to various types of bread that were different from what we typically find in Indian restaurants in the USA. We were the only non-locals dining there, which added to the authentic experience. I would highly recommend this place, especially for those staying in the Little India area.
There is a good variety of dishes to choose from, and the staff were very friendly and willing to explain and make recommendations. The menu mainly consists of breads and sauces with a lot of tantalizing flavors. It's important to note that you'll need to be prepared to eat with your hands as cutlery is not provided. The total cost for three main courses, two mango lassis, and one dessert was sixteen dollars. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
This is a good place if you want to eat Indian style, it is very popular with Indians who are always a good sign. they serve a lot of cheap Indian meals, snacks and sweets. the personal was happy to tell me all the ingredients in the articles I asked when I asked what was vegan.
Great, affordable vegetarian food. A must-try is their poori, which I dare say is one of the best I have tasted in Singapore. The Masala thosai is also good, although it could have less onions in the masala. I appreciate how they serve tea/coffee in silver tumblers. The vadai with chutney is also delicious. Despite ordering quite a bit of food, the bill only came up to $17 for the three of us. One thing to note is that people eat quickly and leave, so there is not much of a wait for a table. The hand washing area is narrow and the floor can be slippery, so it's important for older folks and children to be cautious. (Updated on 21st Jan) The onion oothappam was also delicious! Despite ordering more food, the bill was only $20. Once again, great value for money.
