Harvest Rd - Central Saanich

Harvest Rd is a casual food truck stop right beside Mitchel's Farm store just off Highway 17 and the Lochside Cycling Trail. Friendly owners, delicious food and an easy-going outdoor vibe. We have sampled sausage on a bun all over the world and this was one of the best: handmade local sausage, freshly made ketchup, sauerkraut, shredded lettuce and cheese, all loaded on a toasted pretzel bun. Stop and enjoy- it's worth it!

Holy this guy below me clearly has no credibility, anyone who willing admits to trafficking McDonald's should not be writing food critic reviews. Firstly the burger was hands down the best I have had in forever, secondly the beautiful outdoor picnic area was charming and thirty the owner/staff were super engaging and friendly. Don't miss out on it if in the area!

Harvest Rd is tucked in behind Mitchel's farm market just off the Pat Bay Highway @ Islanview Rd. A great place to stop for coffee, cold drink or lunch while cycling Lochside trail, sunny Sunday drive or like me a quick stop between jobs mostly. A friendly atmosfier with good quality normal Norman food not out of a package or freezer box. Along with great relaxing views of the Mitchel valley from the patio and lawn seating and if your lucky a mini air show just down the road @ Mitchel air field. This was my second visit this year for a quick lunch. The first visit this year I noticed a different garnish from the home cut deep fried potato chips. Coleslaw (not COLDSLAW my wife tries to correct me) I'm not normally a big fan of coleslaw but I must say I don't miss the chips anymore. Coleslaw with a light smoky lime dressing. A very refreshing change to a age old salad. And for those of you that like it like me, it is available to go. So the next time you find yourself on the Pat Bay Highway between Sidney and Victoria stop in for a visit, coffee

I enjoy stopping in at Harvest Rd for lunch. The food is delicious, with generous portions. Not only is it gratifying to know that the food is local, but Jenni and Brendan provide excellent and friendly service. I enjoy seeing what menu item they will create next. Keep up the great work!
