Bidra med feedbackI ate in this restaurant several times and was always impressed. Yesterday evening I have dined there and to my insult the menu is much reduced and service really bad. My sister ordered the pulled pork that was great food and not shredded it made difficult to eat and a bit dry... my food was good. After we finished our meal at 8.30 p.m. we asked about the dessert options when we chose 2 desserts, we asked to have coffee with him and the server told us in a very extendable tone that if we wanted a coffee, that means that they would have to go and put on a pot. It was clear she wasn't impressed. They close at 9 a.m. and it seemed like we had caused her a problem, so we canceled Dessert and left. I always enjoyed eating at this place, but after last night I would think twice about going back....
It was our first time here, we heard great stuff about it, but today the kitchen was out. We ordered the smokehouse Ceasar to drink and they were delicious! We were immediately told that they were from some different menu options. We ordered a pizza, the goat cheese in the menu said it came with Mozzarella. I didn't ask for sun-dried tomatoes, and the pizza had them up. The service was great and friendly. They force our pizza because it wasn't what we ordered, which was very nice! I will try again in the hope that they will tweek their kitchen problems.
We have been strong local supporters since the first day, always recommend this for guests and friends except during a low period when they have a new manager (now away) and again, now with a new menu. The dinner menu is more like a lunch menu. A few smoked options we could see and even less dinner options than before. The 'new' pizza crust is a disappointment, and the pizzas are scanned on toppings and taste. Unfortunately, you can no longer build your own pizza. Smoked tofu is no longer an option. Pizza substitutions are no longer an option. Vegetarian curry bowls are gone. Chicken dinner's gone. Recently I asked because of an allergy, if we could replace cheese or build our own pizza, there was no answer, so it went on. Recently, 8 of us were for dinner, only two of the eight were happy with their meals. Soil staff changed a few times, and friendliness with it. There are two more restaurants in this rural area that now offer better food and service, which we fortunately become frequent, and avoid this place, one that was once one of our favorite restaurants. Teaching: Consistency is key, kindness, food options for restricted diet or lifestyle choices, and if you have a menu that works, don't mess with it...
The food was perfect, but not almost the quality it was when this restaurant opened first. What made it terrible was the bad service and lack of food available on the menu. At 6:00 a.m. on Saturday night they had fled from the daily special, run out of all wings and run out of all ribs. What did they want to do when dinner started? At the time there were very few cartridges in the restaurant, but the waitress kept telling us how busy she was. We wanted to ask questions about our food as she was too busy making drinks. Apparently, she could not cope with the pace of work in a small restaurant. When she finally brought us our drinks, one of them was not what we ordered. We've been waiting for our food for a long time, but it was perfect. We were never addressed by a waitress after our food was delivered. We've been waiting for our bill for a very long time. It never came, though promised by two different people. At some point we went to the counter to pay where I was asleep again when she was too busy to deliver the bill. It wasn't important anymore. I paid the bill and I'll never be back.
Setting is wonderful as the building boasts a post and beam patio, wood fired oven and fantastic food. Chef Morgane Robyn made our experience even greater by getting out of her way to modify my wfe’s Dinner given her limitations due to allergies. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, roasted yams with a hint of hardwood smoke accompanied by a fresh garden greens salad. Portion was so filling we were not able to have desert. Our server Sarah was attentive and a delight to be served by. Make sure to go to the “Chef garden” when you treat yourself to a great meal in a piece of Paradise!
