SoLo on Main - Central Elgin

The food at this restaurant is fantastic. The only downside was the cold cappuccino with too much foam and not enough coffee. Nevertheless, the food was so delicious that it made up for it.

This is the greatest restaurant I have ever been to!

I must say the food and service was great! Really love the ambient atmosphere and decor, especially art on the walls. Minor detail is that it was hard to get inside with a stroller otherwise it was great! ?? Fish and Chips were on point!??

Was a bit disappointed with my fish, but I feel like that was my fault because I eschewed the day’s fish preparation in favour of some brown butter sauce that the waitress suggested. Everything else was great, just felt like it was overpriced, this isn’t an especially fancy restaurant or anything. My girlfriend definitely enjoyed it a lot more than I did. Lovely service though.

We were at solo on main October 7th. Our anniversary. It was our first time here. We were never told what the specials were if they had any.We had the chicken wings for appetizers. We ordered 12 only 6 were brought out, we had to ask for the other 6. They were so good. Not vinegary like so many wings are.My husband had the pickerel dinner. He was very pleased. I had the perch dinner i was pleased.Will be back.
