La Fiesta Mexican - Cedar City

Very good salsa, feels homemade. teller are huge. extensive menu with many seafood. it was so good and the server was nice. one of the best Mexican restaurants in cedern of my opinion. cool decoration too. a lot of space.

We had to wait for someone to notice that we had walked in before we were seated. After seated things went great till we were out of water and chips, and not one had taken our order yet. We finally had someone come by and ask if our order had been taken yet, and we said no. Well, order taken, food delivered, and we didn't see anyone again till the check. Food was great though, large portions and it was good! I had the taco salad, my wife had a huge chicken burrito. They could use some help with their beans, or water with chucks in it, haha. Service would be one star, but the food brought it up. Worth trying at least once, I don't think we will be back for a while.

Food was not tasty. Everything very bland, guacamole. Pork, and shredded beef both were tough, had to be cut with knife; basically tasted refried. We didn't get there until after 9pm, so I guess we weren't worth fresh food. We were very disappointed, but paid for complete meal, and didn't complain. If the waitress wasn't too concerned that most of our meal wasn't eaten, then it wasn't worth the aggravation of bringing it up. We will definitely not return to this restaurant.

I'm amazed reading the other, high, reviews, which are why I came here. Too hot inside. 30 minutes to be seated....only 2 groups of 2 seated in the 30 minutes. Then, when I was seated , I saw 5 empty tables around me. No alcohol products- I would have loved a margurita- , out of iced tea. Because of the seating delay I ordeted as I was seated. Couldn't get half chicken, half shrimp on the fajitas, because they were the special, otherwise I could have- ??? Food took 25 minutes to be served. Had to get a replacement plate, the first was dirty. The food was good, though, which saved the night. (The people seated right after me had to wait 45 min for their food. Glad I ordered when I was seated)

Wait staff is nice however, the food is just plain gross. Burritos are topped with a mystery sauce that makes no sense and tastes like bland runny gravy. The rest of the party I was with all had issues with taste, and questionable freshness of the cuisine. I hope the owner reads these reviews and takes notes. This place could be cool if the food is fixed.
