Oregano's - CAVE CREEK

Haven't been here in a year because the service wasn't very good last time. Sorry to report it hasn't gotten any better. Needs a manger that can turn it around!

Walking into this place is like walking back in time. The atmosphere is well thought out, and the building is historic and they pay homage to the history. The prices are like walking back in time to 2020. The value is incredible. Heaping portions of food for way less than the competition.Start with the Bomb Dip. It is oven finished spinach artichoke dip served with what they call pizza chips. I call it delicious.Our server Sam was perfect attentive and professional and didn’t shy away from choosing my pasta for me. She chose well, and I ate well. I had the Ziti. I ate all I could and still boxed up more than half.My lady had Moms Mac and Cheese—spicy and topped with bacon. It’s listed under the starter menu, but is a great choice for an entree too.She also enjoyed her Bellini. Hard to imagine being hungry for dessert, but if you can manage, get the pizza cookie. We like the classic chocolate chip with ice cream. One day, I’m sure we’ll try another one.It’s a great place for a casual date or family night out. The bar seems like it would be a nice place to sit and eat too. Can’t go wrong here.We have been here several times recently and have nothing but great experiences, today however was legendary. Love the homey decor of this place. Food is good, service fine-extra-large portions, so don't be afraid to share a meal.

I was visiting some family over the weekend in Cave Creek and we decided to eat dinner at Oreganos. I was very hesitant at first because I haven’t had many good experiences before but I was quite surprised to say the least. Last time I came there was an awfully long wait but we were greeted by a sweet hostess and quickly sat. Our waitress, Jennifer, made the overall experience exceed our expectations! She was very observant/attentive, always making sure our drinks were refilled and clearing our empty plates to make room. She was welcoming and her happy demeanor and attitude did not fail to put a smile on our faces! Jennifer recommended the El Diablo Pasta and I ordered that as my main dish with chicken! It was beyond amazing, probably one of the best pasta dishes I have ever eaten. My husband got a thin crust Bistro Classic Pizza per Jennifer’s suggestion. He could not stop raving about it so I had to steal a slice, 10/10! Not typically a white pizza fan but it was delicious! I loved all the cheeses and fresh veggies! We had to finish our meal with a pizza cookie! Overall we had an extraordinary experience and would definitely return. If you ever stop by definitely recommend asking for Jennifer!!

Great service by Jennifer. She was fast and attentive. One of the best server we had in a long time. She recommended the Hakuna past and my fiancé loved it. I had the Bellini and was feeling it. Come check out there tasty food and drinks. We can’t wait to come back.
