I take the time to write these few phrases, because what we have just lived my companion and I is not acceptable from an establishment receiving customers, where the primary interest is to render a service and not to lack respect. My companion chose the steak tartare with his home fries, unfortunately this steak looked a little overwhelmed, at least it was our feeling. The edges of the steak were greenish and these pieces there felt rather bad, unlike the pieces of the environment that they were very good. Being a little embarrassed by this aspect, that taste, and that smell, my spouse decides to send him back to the kitchen politely and courteously. The waitress comes back to us and explains that the meat has no worries, and that it is only the refrigerator that gives this greenish aspect good it does not explain the smell and taste) but we agree. The waitress offers us another dish. So far nothing serious. 5 min later, Madame returns to us and announces that the leader will not reserve another dish to my companion. Amazed by this lack of professionalism, we ask to speak to the leader, but we are answered: “the leader has no time to take care of this”. Once more amazed, we insist on speaking to the chief. So it was my companion who had to get up to go to the kitchen to get an explanation. And what an explanation! The leader welcomed my companion in aggressiveness by raising his voice in front of all the customers. By explaining that her meat is fresh and came from the butcher’s house. After a long time getting burned, and lack of respect, we decide to leave this establishment. Through this opinion, I don't question the quality of the products, a little overwhelmed can happen, even that of the butcher. But I question the reaction of the leader who is INACCEPTABLE and anything but professional! A simple gesture would have been enough to settle this misunderstanding... I would like to point out that my family and I used to go to this restaurant, that yes food is very good, and that sometimes inconveniences can happen... But this reaction is not acceptable! Very disappointed in this place. Well, I think it's a good idea.
To avoid, I made myself burn and shout on it by the boss because one of the meats seemed not good to our taste (we tasted it two to be sure). This gentleman yelled at me in the restaurant with a less professional relationship. Don’t go there by risk of you being disrespected by the leader.
When we had dinner in love, we had booked a few hours before we arrived. Small bistro with a large terrace, a little strait in winter indoors. Ordering and service is a little overdue but remains reasonable. Hot wine was good, Christmas beer not terrible... Although very dear to my taste (24€!!! fries were good but a little oily, perfect cooking according to demand, fries that seem to be homemade. The waitress was friendly and smiling who was pleasant. We had 63€ to two, a little expensive for a bistro.
The plate is a real delight! The welcome always with a smile. For an apero snack or real meal especially don’t hesitate! A real little for Cavaillon
