We spent a great friday at Trattoria Secondo Baracchino right close to the Po river. Ask for torta fritta (Fried bread, a soft of it with ham and cheese, then main course home made (pasta, ravioli and if you are still hungry, order meat (pig! . Really amazing, welcoming, familiar and with a real genuin taste. Really recommended! Pet friendly.

Been here on an evening with only one car in the parking lot it was almost opening time. While we were dining, the place was full. The indoor place was one room (lots more for summer outside sitting), 50 seats I calculated. We ordered Gnocco Fritto which is Flour and water squares that are deep fried not sure if muslims allowed (they might use 'strutto ' pork fat) that is lighter than oil with a mix of 'salame, coppa, spalla cotta ' plus giardiniera (mix of sour veg very refreshing). All good. Service was quick but more expensive than a Pizzeria. Suggestion: be sure to have a change with your clothes because you 'll come out deep fried too.

The “torta fritta” with salumi is a must here. Place is like a “trattoria”, so very basic, but service is gently, kind and friendly. Menu is not limited only to the “torta fritta” but you can get a lot of other speciality of this area. Nice place.

Non delude mai. Anche quando te ne vai da molto tempo. prodotti eccellenti che offrono il menu. in particolare il gnocco fritto con carni tipiche. che è per eccellenza il piatto tipico del territorio. fortemente consigliato.
