Masseria Torricella - CASTELLANA GROTTE

All in all disappointing... The good beautiful pool, great panorama and kind staff... The bad our room was at top of 51 stairs (I counted... which is something like 3 floors without an elevator... just imagine carrying all the luggage for a family of 5... Minimal breakfast (with great cappuccino sad scrambled eggs that waited just for us out to dry... Laundry service, which costs 10€ for machine, but even after 24h ,we didn 't got the laundry back (they don 't use dryer but I would expect it to dry in the summer sun even faster... . This delay with the laundry caused us a delay in checkout... when we came to pay, they wanted to charge us for 50€ for this 3h delay, which caused by them... after my refusal and clear explanation, they withdrew... Could have been much better with not much effort.

In the middle of the Apulian countryside there’s this gem, an authentic Masseria where everything that you eat is km0. We had an amazing dinner, the quality of food was incredible and the service impeccable. Every waiter was so nice and welcoming, we really enjoyed the meal! Price was even too low for the quality. Highly highly recommended

This could be a five star place with good food wine and a nice view pool, but they were understaffed. The staff ran from table to table but we had our main course without wine, our salad arrived after we were finished and we needed to wait again for the oil. The breakfast (pre ordered) was the same experience. We waited for 20 minutes before we got something but the coffee and eggs came later. Even an order at the pool took long.

Struttura di pace assoluta, meravigliosa. Va bene. à la carte si mangia bene, per rivedere il menu notturno fisso. personale estremamente disponibile, posizione strategica per raggiungere ogni posto. Consiglio vivamente
