Bidra med feedbackWe went on suggestion of local friends, dinner time. Once we entered the premises we found to welcome us I think the couple of owners, no answer to greetings, they were serving a gentleman with children to follow, finished with the latter they have sent us in front of their acquaintance, already here.. At the time of order we took arancina to the meat, a calzone and bread and panelle. The latter the gentleman at the counter went to get them just removed from the fryer, excellent and well stuffed sandwich (without additions). The other two pieces: horrors were heated to the microwave. At least the price was contained! I don't think we'll be back.
The pans, the oranges... the chicken! I've known this place for a lifetime and it's a must for me in Castelbuono. Try to believe! Genuineness, tradition and love for food!
Everything done by them, and exceptional panels (never eaten), crocché made as if you were at home and to close sandwich with the spleen (never eaten). All good as the Sicilian tradition teaches. Dear owners, I felt at home like in Naples. Local Co. And those of once warm, welcoming and full of tradition.
We have lunch In usual place a Sunday of passage to Castelbuono, at suggestion of some local people. We tried the ragù arancine, the panels, with and without bread, and one of the exposed sandwiches/panzerotti. All very good, the oranges were just made, they were the best I ate during my stay in Sicily! It was also very pleasant to exchange a chat with the owner of the room, very kind, friendly and patient! I'd love to come back if I wasn't over a thousand miles away!
We stopped in this place on the advice of a waiter from Cefalù. It has excellent prices and really good Sicilian pieces. In a side cottage of the main course of Castelbuono.
