Belmonte - Cascais

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our meal at Belmonte. The server was very sociable and attentive. I am used to expensive, high quality, barely seasoned, American steaks. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying an inexpensive seasoned filet at this restaurante. Everything was interestingly prepared and tasty. My wife was talking about how she enjoyed the meal for a day or two after!

I eat here quite regularly on my travels always so friendly the food and the quality of service are good they have a good wine list and of course other drinks. The prices aren't crazy. I RECOMMEND!

This was our first visit to Belmonte after the COVID shutdown, and we were so happy they reopened! This restaurant is fantastic. We ordered the ceviche de polvo for appetizer, which was very flavorful with bits of red onion, cilantro, sprouts, and mango. My wife had the filet mignon, accompanied with mashed sweet potato. I had the filet mignon risotto. Both main courses had an ample quantity of food, and both had very good flavor. We shared the chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert, which was layered in different levels of chocolate deliciousness. We had wine, water, lemonade, and a Portuguese digestive for beverages. All for a very reasonable price. This place is excellent, and well worth the visit for the food and the exceptional service! We will keep coming back to Belmonte, and encourage you to do the same.

Want somewhere different in Cascais/ Estoril offering fantastic food, excellent service and great value then you have got to try this place! Once you have navigated past the road works (June 2020) you enter a large venue which can easily manage social distancing and is well ventilated. Menu was short, which makes a change in Portugal, but all looked tempting. The risottos were really flavoursome and the steaks cooked and seasoned really well. Presentation can only be described as exceptional. Our party of 6 had a fantastic time.

Excellent food and service, albeit very slow. There was another big group eating at the same time as us, so that probably had something to do with it. The live music was great and kept us all entertained while and after we were eating.
