Fresh Local Ice Cream - Cary

The ice cream is OK. The person working here was extremely rude. Kept sweeping when we walked in and didn't acknowledge us until she absolutely had to. I wonder if us speaking Spanish had anything to do with how we were treated because when the nextcustomer walked in she greeted them and was much friendlier with them.

While many people love fresh for their amazing flavors, they completely lack vegan options. I would not leave a negative review like this if it wasn?t for the fact that they market several flavors as non-dairy, but when I asked if they were vegan theyadmitted to me that these flavors had a low amount of dairy in them. Please don?t lead people with dietary restrictions on, justbe up front about what you offer.

Decent ice cream place, that 's obviously a popular spot (it was busy on a Friday night). I got peach ice cream and their blueberry/lemonade sorbet. Both were good. My wife got the midnight brownie flavor, which she deemed awesome. Flavor selectionis decent, and it wasn 't too expensive. All in all, a good place to visit when in the area.

My family and I were visiting this area from out of town and we went to one place to get ice cream before choosing Fresh Local Ice Cream but they were wayyyyyyy too expensive and that 's how we ended up here. The staff was friendly and quick even with aline out the door. There are a few tables inside, not many because it is a small place, but there are lots of sit down areasoutside. The ice-cream was phenomenal and the waffle cone was the icing on the cake . I had butter pecan and it definitely hitthe spot. The cones must be made in house because they were hot and fresh like they had just come out of the oven. Either way,you couldn 't go wrong even if they don 't make them fresh because I 've never had a waffle cone like that before. We sat outsideto eat it and I must say I am not the out doorsey person, especially in the heat, but even I enjoyed myself ????. The ice creamdefinitely tasted fresh and was great on a very hot and sunny day!!!

Great place to stop in at ans enjoy when visiting downtown Cary!! I grabbed a milkshake and it didn't last long. Can't wait to come back again and enjoy it.
