Mar D' Fora - Carvoeiro

We came to Mar d'Fora by chance and what a happy accident it was! We enjoyed a nice, cozy, when a bit cool sunset dinner on the outdoor terrace with great service and excellent fresh catch of the day. The appetizers that were automatically brought to the table were very appreciated as we were overdue for lunch. The tuna salad and the bread in a paper bag to keep it a bit warm were a big hit. The oysters were incredible. I love that they brought us blankets so that we could stay comfortably outside and offer a great service, although we were the only ones on the terrace. I found it interesting not to learn in such things that they read us the fresh catch fish options, including the specific weights appropriate to divide between two people. They boned and served the boiled fish at the table that was impressive. Everything in a pleasant and unforgettable evening!

Seafood. Views. What else do you need? Oysters are a must order. Ditto to the garlic shells. The tempura prawns with guacamole and mango were also very good to have as starters. If a dish is served as such, the piece bites together with every ingredient, right? Because if you are arent, start now. Whatever happens is the presentation of all catches. Great way to really introduce any fish or shells. Caipirinha to wash everything!

We had a fabulous meal here, the staff was very friendly and chatting. The fish is undoubtedly fresh and you are guided by the catch of the day we found quite theatrical We found the drinks prices very reasonable and had the fish stew for 2, which was very high quality and authentic Portuguese was highly recommend this place for great food and views, it is with a local feeling so not for those on a budget.
