Amigo's Steakhouse - Carrizo Springs

The atmosphere was okay the service was almost amazing. My concern is I'm not from this area so when I ask what is the best dish you have. You push a tasteless dry brisket. On another note the restroom was pretty bad and they had no hand washing soap. I'm not sure if the cooks use the same washing station but if so this is a bad sign.

Great folks , food portion and taste were good , and the draft beer cold and refreshing . Bugs crawling around my table and tons of little roaches in the men's room.

I bought a dinner special that included a one-visit salad bar. The salad bar offerings were excellent; however, the salad plate was a coffee cup plate, very disappointing and a real mood killer.

I had the frog legs and they were tasty along with the loaded baked potato. The portion was very generous, I barely finished.I felt a little weird being the only one dining at the time. I asked the waitress why it was so slow and she said I was there after the lunch rush and before the evening rush. Made me feel better.This is a small town restaurant with a small town look.The food was good enough that I would return if ever in the area again.
