Venable Rotisserie Bistro - Carrboro

Rude front staff. We were stuck in traffic trying to find our way quicker to restaurant. They called at 15 min past our res and asked if we still wanted our reservation then thanked me for letting them know? Let my wife out to hurry to the table. They tried to seat her at the bar in someone else’s seat with menus then left her there. Cold shouldered us when I came in from the parking lot and my wife was walking back to the front after being abandoned at the bar. Bizarre. We were 16 min late. Been going here for years. Not sure we’re going back.

Noise level was high but thankfully our waitress graciously moved us to a quieter table. Everything was delish.

We had a lovely time on the patio for brunch on a temperate summer day. Three friends catching up! Nice attentive, flexible service.

Dinner at Venable is consistently a great experience. The service, food and ambience are always top notch. Looking forward to our next meal there!

We only had 2 in our party. Our waiter was very nice did a good job with everything; however my trout couldn’t be seen when served. It was covered completely with rice green beans. I had to ask if it was even there? Not usually the plating for an entree listed as Trout accompanied by rice, green beans almonds! Maybe another day entree?
