Bidra med feedbackWe sat at the cozy bar for drinks and appetizers. The bartender was warm and friendly, the service was impeccable, and the food was delicious.
My partner and I went here for our 5th year anniversary as the reviews were generally excellent and it appeared to have a romantic atmosphere. We were not disappointed! The interior decor is warm and inviting, enhanced by the beautiful Christmas decorations. Our server Andrew also did double duty as the bartender. When we first arrived, Havana's had very few customers so Andrew was very attentive. He even wished us happy anniversary. By the time we left, Havana's was full yet Andrew was still both waitering and bartending. Understandably, he wasn't able to stop by as often ... but throughout our time there, he was extremely pleasant, engaging, and responsive. We started out with holiday specialty cocktails that were okay but not remarkable. Given the price for each (one was $15), they should have been. As an aside, the prices for cocktails are not listed on the menu. They should be. We had the crab dip with toasted homemade pita bits. Now THAT was remarkable! Entrees were excellent (pork chops and scallops). We ordered a small dessert (mini-chocolate mousse), which was delicious. Andrew kindly treated us to dessert for our anniversary! Overall, our experience was wonderful, thanks to the ambiance, food and service. I will add that it is very expensive but a perfect choice for a special occassion.
Everything here is flawless, the delicious food, the friendly service, the laidback atmosphere and the incredible drinks. The jalapeno margaritas are wonderfully delicious and spicy and nearly impossible to beat. The scallops were perfectly cooked, as were the conch fritters, which were served with a delicious dipping sauce. Best calamari I've ever had as well. The only thing here that's even better than the food and drinks is the service, the staff are laid back, friendly and fun, extremely welcoming place to enjoy a meal.
We live in Greensboro NC and Havana's is a 3-plus hour drive, but it's worth it.
Great food and service. The shrimp fried rice and shrimp and grits were really good. But the Bananas Foster was delicious. Service from Patrice was excellent.
