Maria D's Sub Shop - Carney

As much as I dislike leaving negative reviews, I feel I must share my experience. I've eaten at this restaurant several times, and I've always found the food to be just average. However, this evening I decided to try a Stromboli, and I was very disappointed—I felt I wasted both gas and almost $15 on something that was undercooked. When I arrived to pick up my order, I noticed the staff standing around eating while I waited. As I left, I couldn't help but wonder why the box didn't feel hot like fresh food should. To my dismay, the Stromboli was warm on the outside but very cold and raw in the middle. The taste was lacking, with too much sauce and not enough meat as I picked through it. I called the restaurant, and a friendly woman answered. She didn't know why my food wasn't hot but did apologize for the situation. Unfortunately, there was no further explanation. As hungry as I was, it completely ruined my appetite. I don't think I can go back!

Always delivers! The staff is very friendly, and it's our favorite pizza spot in Parkville.
