Ollie's Brick Oven Pizza

Pizzarocks. No doubt. Salads could use some effort, not enough spices (salt to produce the dressing flavors. Grilled vegetables and lamb balls are bombs. Don?t drink so can?t comment on the cocktails, woman had a house Vino Tinto that was good. Tiramisu was dry, disappointing! All the right ingredients were just not enough espresso or kahlua to clean the lady fingers. Bummer. The staff were usually attentive, but we had to ask twice for more ice and napkins. Some thoughts: Dress the Arugula (Oliven Oil, Lemon Juice and Salt before you on pizza, pour dry and tasteless on an otherwise perfect pizza. Meatballs and grilled vegetables are ingenious, but both dishes need bread, sauced dishes need bread! And also salads. We asked and received large bread from the oven for $3. I'll pay this all day, just let me know and tell me. Do not give me meatballs and no bread and let me wait 5-6 minutes for freshly baked bread. And then la cuenta. Can't you figure out why the menu numbers (all in dollars? ve was $72 even, but the bill showed $76.32 but after tax exchanged for $88? But menu said included tax? What the hell? And then it came through with $91 on the credit card? This is not my bank, because everywhere here is a uniform exchange, check to credit card. Not too happy about the charges here. If you say the prices in dollars, calculate me in dollars, but don't mark it around 20.20/1 and then run the credit card to Pesos (which you obviously have for more 5% or mark the dollars before you add what you did and then exchange to Pesos. It's just standing. The second restaurant to which we have been doing this all the time since life. I want to pay in dollars. You want me to pay in Pesos, but you want me to replace the check at 20,20 and convert it to dollar. No. We will be back, but next time will be a discussion about la cuenta when this happens again.

The four cheese pizza was great! The Margarita Pizza is good. I wasn't thrilled with the Kaprese salad. The tomato were completely, not cut, and some bread would have been nice to accompany them. Service was good. Make sure you get some gelato next door.

Probably the best pizza I've ever tasted. But they have the worst waiters of any restaurant I've done. I literally refuse to have only the thought of being served by unhealthy employees. I always recommend going to the place. Unless you are American, the staff will not be polite and helpful.

Pizza is excellent. There is also a fantastic icebox next door. You have to check both when in the area. Enjoy

First time here and quite impressed with the small size and the huge price, the flavor is as good as any other brick oven pizzeria in Baja, and I tasted better ones in Tj. Now with the COVID situation make sure you double check your ?to go order?, I order a margarita and mushroom and it broke my heart to not even see basil in there, specially after paying a gourmet price and having plenty of personal at the door. Definitely an overrated spot.
