The Near Boot - Carlisle

Varied menu with some unusual things on it, nicely cooked. the chicken burger is in the round a completely boneless, spiced bun in a bungalow. the prices are quite high, so not the same cheap rallye deal pub as before.

Superb Sunday carvery. Choice of all 3 meats, cooked perfectly and plenty of tasty, vegetables, stuffing, chipolatas and yorkshires. All home cooked along with the puds which were gorgeous.

We ate here for the first time on Saturday. eating was delicious, very friendly and attentive staff. in any case recommend.

Excellent little gem. nice to see it again open! carvery was beautiful! and good portions of the meat. they can get seconds on the vege, but as so many places in these days only once for the meat.

I just came from the nearby boat to house and we had a great evening that staff, where all so attentive, friendly, chatty and really so made a effort with our son. the food was fresh, hot and delicious. we will definitely come back. paula was particularly friendly and it was very busy. well done to the whole team they all deserve one thanks.
