The Mango Tree - Carlisle

We visit here quite often for either takeaway or a sit in meal. On this occasion we sat in and as usual we were not disappointed. If you like Indian and are passing by,pop in and try for yourself. I think you'll enjoy it.

We are fortunate to live near to the Mango Tree and regularly enjoy a takeaway from them, as well as occasionally dining in. Last night was one of those occasions. Although quiet with only 10 dining, we enjoyed the atmosphere. We chose from the October Special menu and especially enjoyed the mamun chicken starter, and sizzling beef curry main which were tasty and well presented. As ever, the staff (well owner's wife! was chatty and attentive. We will be back!

Simply the best Indian restaurant and takeaway I've ever tasted. we just have to try everything on the menu. the personal is friendly and efficient. sometimes eating can take an hour to come when the takeaway orders, but they always say, and it is always good to wait. I've never been disappointed.

A very pleasant meal. the staff was very helpful and polite. the menu was very informatiw with many choices. the prices were very reasonable. the food was perfectly cooked. I would highly recommend this restaurant, it is worth visiting.

Indian food is absolutely excellent; but not sharp on the cats that are on the sofas when they were in. they did not come to the restaurant, but there is nothing that wanders through them, as there are no doors to separate the areas. eating it is worth definitiw.
