This family run take away is excellent - clean, friendly and affordable. It's by far the most affordable place to eat in this strip. The fish is really good too and the chip portions very generous! Great for a hungry family on a budget or a hungry office worker with the munchies.

Peter's Seafood is an open-fronted shop on the Carina strip on Old Cleveland Road. For those who wish to dine-in, there is some limited seating looking out onto Old Cleveland Road, but we usually choose the takeaway option. My family have been happy customers here for many years. The proprietors are absolutely lovely people, always welcoming their customers with a smile and a personal greeting. They offer many different fish-and-chip options (e.g., flake, snapper, dory, and several others); our favourite is the Barramundi. The fish is prepared battered, breaded, or grilled, according to the customer's preference. The potato scallops are fantastic (my husband says they're the best he's ever found anywhere). Their hamburgers are also quite good, and my husband loves their mini dim sims. When it's fish-and-chips night at our house, we always choose Peter's!

We drove past Peter's for 12 years when we lived at Cleveland and then moved into the area 13 years ago. We were walking past one day and gave it a go. Like most ex-Victorians you cannot find a decent piece of FLAKE anywhere up here, we searched everywhere to no avail. Then we tried Peter's... and his flake is delightful..... over the last 13 years, we have got to know this wonderful family very well.Everything about this place is excellent, capped of with the cleanliness of the place, Peter spends quite a few hours every day, after close, cleaning from light fittings to floor tiles.Peter prepares your order specifically to your demands and he employs helpful, pleasant staff.If you are looking for good seafood (especially ex Victorians!!) Note this is a take away shop, not a restaurant!

Peters Seafood is in a great location, with amazing fish n' chips! Their potato scallops are some of the best on the Southside. Highly recommended with the friendliest customer service.
