Zelda's on the Beach - Capitola

Food was good. The Fish and Chips were proper. Our server didnt come back to give us hot sauce or more water. Other servers picked up the slack. The lady was nice though. There were just a good amount of customers. I think they may have been short staffed tonight. We plan to come back one more time and see if some other things are good. Idk if the fish and chips was worth $25 but we had no complaints and I think they also charge automatic gratuity? We didnt order drinks and got charged an extra $6 for unknown and I was tired and ready to go and didnt dispute it. I still tipped but the $12 tip became much less because of whatever this mystery charge was. Our meals were $50. Even with sales tax it shouldn’t be that high. I will be writing a better review if our next visit is more impressive.

We started on patio but had to move inside because of rain. They were very gracious about moving us. All the food was excellent. My soda was watered down and very expensive but being you are right on the beach, totally understandable

Service is always good. The food yummy. I had the juevos rancheros.

Very nice location facing the ocean. Busy restaurant and service takes time. Dog friendly.
