Bidra med feedbackRemoving the dairy from a burrito doesn't result in a lower cost, but it was still a substantial burrito and tasted decent, despite the occasional bites of just lettuce or rice. The fries lacked seasoning, but perhaps if they were covered in cheese and bacon, the lack of salt would go unnoticed.
The restaurant mistakenly believes that vegan and vegetarian are the same thing. Every dish is loaded with cheese and sour cream. When I inquired about substituting the dairy items, I was informed that it would not be allowed and that I would have to pay extra for any replacements, even if the dairy was omitted. Additionally, the price did not decrease when the dairy products were removed. I will not be returning to this restaurant and will instead make the 1.5-hour journey to St. Louis to spend my money there.
Drinking the milk from a burrito doesn't make it cheaper, but it was a filling burrito that was decent enough. However, it was disappointing to only have the option of getting just salad or just rice. The fries could have used a bit more salt, but if they were smothered in cheese and bacon, you wouldn't even notice.
They think vegan means vegetarian. each dish is broken into cheese and acidic cream. when I asked if I could replace the milk products for something else, I was told no, and that I would have to pay extra for everything else, even if I took off the milk. also the price reduction in the elimination of milk products was not reduced. I will make the 1,5-hour trip to st. louis and spend my money there.
