We have used this place on and off over the last nine years, and it has got progressively worse during this time. This evening we had a takeaway that was so vile, nasty, mean and absolutely lacking in any care about the fact that somebody had actually to eat it that we really will never go back there ever again.

Have consistently used Jon Le for 16 years and am never disappointed. Love the food, delicious and satisfying. Staff are pleasant and accommodating.

We have used this takeaway on several occasions and generally been very pleased with the food and service. The young lady on the counter could not be more helpful. However, yesterday I purchased three items including a Special Chow mein and a Chicken rice but found that the rice was like rice pudding and the chow mein consisted of a pot of noodles with a couple of prawns and some small pieces of unrecognisable meat, unlike the usual fayre they serve. I returned these items which the young lady took back into the kitchen and returned five minutes later with an apology. Again, I opened the cartoons to find the rice was exactly the same and, what appeared to be, the same Chow mein only now cold. I returned these items again and received a refund which was promptly spent at the excellent Beltinge Fish and Chip shop. Every business receives complaints and if delt with correctly can enhance their business but from this experience I will not be using Jon Le again for the foreseeable future.

We've had takeaway a couple times and find it good, though mostly average. The service (one person at a takeaway counter) is nice and friendly.
