Bidra med feedbackOn the way to the Canossa castles area, any other restaurant on the Tripadvisor was already full so we took our chance with this place: it sat conveniently at parking lot and junction between the main road and the ramp that takes you to the beautiful Rossena castle. We should have known better. The 'antipasto ' was a really unremarkable selection of cold cuts, probably from LIDL. Praise to the tiny gnocco fritto, which was light and warm, practically perfect. The main course was, filled pasta, and we chose spinach and nettle (ortica), they looked and *tasted* industrial... something you can easily replicate at home, just buy a blister of 'pasta fresca ' at your store and add butter and parmesan. Afterwards, we didn 't dare to go for the meat course. The wine list was mostly local but not short. We had half bottle of Lambrusco 'Il campanone ' which was predictably good but too warm IMHO, nevermind the restaurant has a glassed wine cellar you can see even from outside. The espresso coffee was really, really bad, but I believe it had to do with the inexperienced waiter. We spent 30 Euros for a so-and-so meal; the place felt as if it was there only for the locals. I reccommend it for the Gnocco fritto, and only for that.
Great cut and good also fettuccine mushrooms, fast service.
Clean and cozy, furnished in modern mido. traditional cuisine served with kindness.
Good friendly staff but prices a little too high
Reduced choice of dishes, but all good with very reasonable prices
