Tavern 1883 - Canmore

The service was excellent. The Gnocchi was delicious, maybe a tad bit too oily, but overall I was satisfied. The burger was decent, but nothing extraordinary. Considering the price, I would give this restaurant 4 stars. It may not be a high-end dining venue, but the food and drinks are quite enjoyable.

My wife and I went to Tavern 1883 today and tried the bison burgers. Here are some highlights from our visit. Finding parking around lunch or dinner time can be challenging, but there is a parking lot just a short walk away with plenty of space. The service was excellent and the burgers were delicious. The only downside was that there was a draft inside, so we had to keep our jackets on. Despite this, we had a wonderful time. This bar is a beautiful spot with a fantastic selection of beers and delicious food. Whether you're visiting Canmore on vacation or just passing through, you'll definitely want to stop by and try it out.

Really great place to eat. We drove to Canmore to shop and stopped in at Tavern 1883. Our server was excellent, wish I had her name, awesome personality. We were seated on the patio which had so many heaters…no risk of getting cold. The food was so delicious. I had the chicken burger, my husband had the Tavern burger….so so good, as was the Caesar salad. Will be back on our next trip to Banff.

Great food, friendly and attentive staff. The St. Germain cocktail was delicious. The house salad and the tacos are amazing. They have a nice patio as well. Would highly recommend!
