Rotisserie St-Hubert - Candiac

The food is all right but just that. Too expensive for what you get. The service was good, noisy atmosphere.

I’ve never experienced as bad service as I did here recently. First, they are next to a hockey rink so you’d think they be accustomed to serving groups. But they were completely inept and incapable of performing such a simple task. We walked in right at 11am as they opened, and we asked if they could serve us lunch and get us out of there by 12:30. We were 12 parents and 10 kids. They said no problem. Kids sat at one big table and adults at another. Now, if you were a head waiter that needed to deal with kids and adult, two tables, food and drinks, and do it on a deadline where would you start? Maybe with food orders, since that takes the longest to get ready, then circle back for drinks as the food is being cooked and prepared?! Nope. Not these guys. They spent nearly 30 minutes taking drink orders, and pouring the milks and waters and beers, then bringing them and handing them out before even thinking about taking food orders. Finally they come for food orders, take another 15 minutes getting all that straight, then we waited, and waited, and looked at our watches, and waited some more .... and watched other tables sat after us get served their food, and finish eating, and still no food for us. Finally, someone got up from the table, grabbed our head waiter, told him to cancel all the orders, and we walked out the door. We had been there well over an hour and no sign of food, and we had another hockey game next door in less then an hour. At that point it was far too late and close to game time for the kids to eat a meal like that. The staff at this Hubert location has zero idea how to handle a large group or manage time or the order that tasks should be completed to stay on schedule with the group’s request. If they couldn’t get us ordered, served, and out the door in the time we asked, they should have said so up front and we would have just went somewhere else for lunch instead. No big deal. Instead they left us hanging and totally screwed up our timing.

Waited for 1 hour for 3 plates of brochette and spoke with the manager Yoan he told me that I supposed to know if not on the lunch menu it should be longer than usual. WTH!!!! It's lunch time buddy !!!!! The waitress Virginie she was nice that's why I still tip her $7. But for a manager didn't even offer us a drink or any discount because we were waiting for an hour that because I went asked the waitress we could be waiting longer. Another thing the brochette was not good so salty I would say M and M frozen brochette is 10000000 times tastier. Garbage food!!!!!

DO NOT PLAN A GROUP EVENT HERE. I organized a group of 35 ppl arriving at 6:30. Two hours later still no food. We complained to the manager Yohan that we had another event planned at 9pm and that response was what do you want me to do about that, that 's not my problem . By the time we had our bills and were able to leave, it was 10pm. Horrible service. The manager was eating his dinner before I had mine.

Food took a long time to come, was room temperature. Server took our order and never came back until time for the bill I guess they have food runners here. Didn't have any opportunity to ask for my food to be heated up though. Poor and WEIRD service, not sure if it was because we didn't speak French or because my husband is black. Disapointed and won't return to this location. Was uncomfortable here.
