Bidra med feedbackI don't think the food is fresh, at least not all of them. It was possibly some of the seafood that caused both my friend and I diarrhea that night.
Service wasn't terrible but inefficient. Compounded by the fact that the staff isn't well trained to explain what they have to serve. Majority of the exhaust fans isn't working so the room was full of smoke... And that's with only 4 full tables. I question the hygiene of their food in way they were kept and isn't replaced regularly. Fried dumplings weren't fried and seems like they just sat there for the entire day. The furniture was flimsy and unstable; which makes BBQ stay very unstable and often dangerous. The charcoal grill was pretty fun to watch... Until you've cooked all the skewers and you don't know where to place them. They are metal so makes it somewhat dangerous if left unchecked on the table. Overall the food was average, they had skewered pineapples which you can tell it is out of the can. Slightly disappointing for a restaurant to use canned items.
They offer a wide range of food at a very reasonal price at $35 buffet. Include many cooked Chinese dishes and cold Chinese dishes. I tried $45 set B which include wagyu beef and scallop and free flow of orange juice for all u can eat..excellent experience.
The pork buns are to die for but their dumplings aren't as good as others I've had in Canberra.
Very yum. Reasonable pricing as well. Only disappointment was the steamed dumplings seemed to stick together in the box however I doubt that could be avoided.
