Mama's Trattoria - Canberra

One of the best pasta we had for a long time. Risotto was made perfectly, pasta was al dente!. Not to mention the portion was massive. Loved it and highly recommended.

The food is super! The waiter and waitress are also nice and gave us insight about what is good to order. It's better to have a reservation since they are busy at most times. Had a delightful dinner with the fam.

Good food, very tasty. It's not a gourmet experience but it's delicious, genuine, and the portion sizes are filling. There was a hair in the ice cube in my drink but the dude was trying his best so I didn't really care. Also, they let one of us bring a tub of ice cream in and eat it at the table. That was pretty chill of them. Anyways, yeah, it was bomb.

We ordered some pasta and lasagne from here during isolation and they weren't too bad. It was a shame the deliveroo driver put the tiramisu into the same bag as the hot food and it melted so it didn't look as appealing. We re-refrigerated it prior to eating to ensure it's not a hot tiramisu. Regards @fooderarri

We arrived in Canberra late and most kitchens were closed. We asked Mama’s whether they were still open. They let us in, even though they were about to close. Friendly staff and great service; they even brought out the specials board. We had the veal meatballs with fettuccine. This was the most amazing pasta dish we have had in Australia. The tomato based sauce was not like most Aus restaurants bland, disgusting marinara this was fresh and tasted real. No salt or pepper needed. Amazing! We will return to this gem for sure.
