Le Rendezvous - Canberra

Below average food and very expensive at Le Rendevous Canberra the owner was not helpful. The food was luke warm bland and very expensive for average food. Table was dirty to boot! Haven't been to this place for years now I remember why!

Noisy, food came late, wrong meals, cheap nasty olives. Dirty sticky tables. Avoid at all cost. Service slow and person running the place not helpful.

So disappointed! Have been going for years but never again. We were argued with and yelled at when my brother in law returned his overcooked medium rare steak by the manager and then as we left too. That is not how you treat customers. The food ranged from good to average compared to previous experience across our table, except the steak which was well below average. The table service was ok it was the manager when something went wrong that just had no idea. I understand the customer is not always right but in this case we were and we were treated was appalling!! Never again!!!

That is by far the best Italian I had in canberra. very attentive staff. eating is amazing. a visit worth it! they have been since many times and will continue to return.
