The At Bristol Harbour - Canandaigua

We have made a reservation for 745 pm and there early at 715. there was a tonne empty tables. we said we had to wait. we waited for 20 minutes. No one came and nobody left. she sat us 20 minutes later. we said we don't need any reservations for brunch on Saturday. we're here at 10. there were only a few people in there. we have no problem. on Sunday we are also there at 10 o'clock. very few people in there. the same hostess or manager in the service asked if we had a reservation. I said no. she said we had to wait at the bar. I said there were many tables, and she said we had reservations. I said, but there is no one here, and no one behind me. I totally understand if there are people waiting for me. the place was empty. I thought it was an incredibly poor service. Why shouldn't they sit at the place while nobody waits? we have gone and will not be back.

It was a busy night- 2 weddings and lots of diners. With a 5:15 reservation we did not finish until 7:30. Our waitress was delightful but she had too many tables with large groups.

The food was excellent, but the service was terrible. Our waitress needed more training. She got 1 of our 3 orders wrong, was slow with checking on things, and water refills were hard to come by. Paying was a struggle and she walked away with our credit card to another register to ring up another order. Beautiful day to enjoy lunch outside, but we left somewhat frustrated.

I said there are lots of tables available. She said we have reservstions coming in. I said but there is no one here here now and there is no one behind me. I totally understand if there are people with reservation in line waiting behind me. The place was near empty. I found this to be Incredibly poor service. Why would you not seat 2 people right now on the spot while no one is waiting ? We left and will not be back.

No Chardonnay? None? You have got to be kidding me. A beautiful Saturday evening on Labor Day Weekend and no Chardonnay, really? Oh, and no French Onion Soup either? VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!
