Vimy's Lounge Grill - Canadian Rockies

It was our understanding that reservations are recommended for dinner. I called Vimy's, the call was unanswered, it went to voice mail. We were staying nearby so I walked over to make a reservation in person, was told a reservation wasn't necessary. Service was slow, terribly understaffed. We ordered a buffalo burger and a hamburger. The table next to us was seated after us and received its food before us. Our server was non existent after taking our order, someone else brought our food out to us, waters were not refilled. A couple was seated at the table behind us. After not being waited on they got up and walked out. We finished the mediocre food and waited and waited for more water and our check. Finally my spouse got up to look for our server to request our check, which we paid at the bar. Please do not copy and paste a reply to give Vimy's another chance, you haven't earned it and don't deserve it! We will be back to Waterton but will not return to Vimy's as there are far better choices in the area.

We had a great time getting late night drinks at Vimy's bar.

We just walked into this restaurant. They were not overly busy. The server greeted us on the way in; however, chose to ignore us when we took a seat. She priortized clearing an empty table and then wiping down another empty table. We thankfully moved onto Thirsty Bear, where we received much better service. Very unfortunate, as Vimy's used to provide much better service.

When I entered the restaurant, I was told to choose a table. I waited for at least 20 minutes without receiving any service (not even offered water). Servers assisted a couple that arrived after me, even though I had been waiting. I left after seeing this.

Gave them 4 because we waited too long for the food and we were starving. Our server did bring us other items to snack on and she kept us real comfortable. The food was very good! Did not disappoint. Was a very good time with a good ambiance. Definitely going back.Parking: No problem here.Kid-friendliness: You get crayons paper with images. Us adults also took one?
