Basic, no frills, fish and chip shop in the heart of Simon's Town. Come here with a relaxed attitude and you will leave with one. Order the fish as other dishes are prone to leave you with with a sad face. Can be a hit and miss hense the 4 and not the 5. On a good day, will have you kneeling in the streets praying to the fish gods in happiness.

Lovely location and very friendly helpful staff. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 items on the only plate of food that I have ever ordered here, are to be avoided. The enormous fried calamari tentacles are tough and tasteless, the tartar sauce just mayo and grated carrot. The chips were nice.

Salty been here for a while. Cosy, neat, you feel right at home. Great beer. Had a take away, fast, tasty, delicious flavors, fresh. Oh, do they know your words. No salt. No vinegar. Thank you.

Reasonable price for both food and drinks but the food was very bland. I ordered a chip butty and it came out completely plain, literally just bread and chips
