Shamani Indian Cuisine

I was looking forward to a wholesome and hearty curry for Sunday lunch but my Lamb Rogan Josh was not fresh — the lamb was well overcooked and hard and the curry sauce itself was underwhelming.

Today we went this place for lunch and we found each item we ate amazing and authentic in taste. We ordered Dal Tdaka, Chicken Mint Masala and Palak Paneer. In add ons Masala Lassi. I found the full authentic Indian taste which was missing from the food since the day I arrived. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to have authentic Indian food. Thanks to the owners.

It was loadshedding so difficult to get the full picture. Food was good. I asked for really spicy and it was. I asked for the naan to be made crisp and it was made crisp. So they got the order perfect. The food was tasty. Will visit again the next time I am in Cape Town..

Spectacular! Definitely the best Indian food in Cape Town or anywhere else quite frankly. Every meal is delicious. The service is excellent and the owner is always there, taking personal care that customers are happy, and accommodating any custom requests. I wish we lived closer, would be there once a week. A must try, you will not go wrong!

Authentic Indian cuisine. Delicious. Portions are great. The prawn curry is an absolute must. You have an option between mild and hot. Had this with garlic Naan,fantastic!
