A&w Canada - Campbell River

I waited 15 min for a $18 burger onion rings and water and all the food was cold ,I was in a rush so I couldn't go in and complain but I definitely won't be going back ,this seems to be a on going thing ,with poor food and poor service .Food: 1/5

The A&W restaurant is just like any other, but their bathrooms are equipped with code locks instead of traditional bolts. Unfortunately, the staff gave out the code while I was using the toilet, resulting in an awkward interruption. I observed two other people attempting to open the door with the person who entered after me, and thanks to my warning, they were only able to slightly open the door before awkwardly stepping back. If you choose to use code locks on your doors, it is important to ensure that customers can lock it from the inside. Additionally, if the door is lockable (as I discovered by twisting what would normally be a bolt lock), why does the keypad override it when someone is already inside?

Came here with a group of 10 after a few days of hiking. The food was fine but the service was bad. After placing multiple dine-in orders the staff closed all the bathrooms for cleaning and would not let us use them. They also made us sit outside saying all tables and chairs inside were closed for cleaning. They also said there were no onion rings but then put onion rings on some of our burgers? Seemed like staff were in a rush to clean and get out of there (even though they weren’t closing for two more hours). All around disappointing dine-in experience at this location.

I have always enjoyed A&W. There is a nostalgic factor for me, as well as a love for the food. In my opinion, their Teen Burgers are better than most other fast-food chain burgers. 4 out of 5 stars for the food.

Good food but when it gets busey the staff dont like doing custom orders so 4 out of 5 from me.
