Activities close to: onslow owal next to motel for children who run safely in the free space walkability: on the main street of camden many shops and restaurants drinks: good eating and much space to sit with the family

Lunch on the run home, using the pre freeway roads. Boy oh boy, what changes there are. This pub offered a late lunch, which was lovely, a cold beer and bubbles, which were refreshing, and smiles and friendliness all around. Worth coming back that's for sure.

Monday, 26th September 2022, 12:00pm.If I could give a zero star, I would!One of my very few awful life experiences walking into a restaurant or hospitality venue where I could already smell unpleasantness, ugliness and rudeness in the air the minute I walked in, greeted by an unfriendly tone from one of the two waitresses on the floor, Can I help you? . What else do you think we need when walking into a dining area of a restaurant? Treated timber for back deck? Clown Fish for aquarium? Massage service? We were instantly being made to feel so unwelcome, followed by the same waitress literally throwing the menus at the worst table near the entrance instead of amongst the abundance of the other empty tables. Clearly this waitress has an attitude problem who does not fit into the hospitality industry. We walked out in such a huge disbelief.However it had been written in the stars that good karma awaited us on the other side of the road when we walked into a bustling cafe and were greeted by a couple of cheerful staff with full of smiles that brightly sparkles through their sweet voices which were music to our ears.

This was the most unpleasant hospitality experience in over a decade.I rarely post negative reviews on Google as I believe it is more valuable to the business to contact them with your feedback directly, but in this instance I was made to feel so unwelcome by the two staff members I didn 't want any further interaction with this business.Myself and two friends entered the premises on Monday 26th at 12pm with the intention of having lunch.One of the two female staff glared at me and said can I help you? in a really agressive tone.The three of us just froze in disbelief at her tone. My friend said we would like to have lunch and she pointed to some free tables, there was only one table occupied, the rest were empty .The same waitress slammed into me as she walked past with such force as I nearly lost my balance. I dont understand why this happened, the venue was practically empty.We then sat down and three menus were literally thrown onto the table. The waitress then walked away pointing in the direction of the counter as she said go there when you are ready She sounded angry, I dont know why.My friends and I sat for a moment in shock at her manner and then we agreed that we were not welcome here, so we decided to leave.The two staff just glared at us as we left.We crossed the road and had a lovely lunch where we were welcomed with a smile.A surreal experience to say the least. It was horrible.

Pub, Hotel, and Restaurant are run by separate entities....The Pub: 0 out of 10 ratingHotel: 9 out of 10 ratingRestaurant: 9 out of 10 ratingThe Pub issues:The Manager is a rude alcoholic.The Bar Staff should be Prison officers.The Patrons all seem like they starred in the movie 'Deliverance 'Wouldn 't drink or punt there if it was the last water hole on Earth.If you replaced all the staff in the Pub....it has great potential.
