Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant seemed poorly managed, with dirty dishes piling up and the owner appearing to handle everything himself. The lack of cleanliness extended to the toilets, which were in a terrible state. I would not return to this restaurant and cannot recommend it to others. There are plenty of other options along Kentish High Street that are likely cleaner and more hygienic.
I visited this restaurant with my daughter for lunch. It is a simple restaurant with little atmosphere, featuring only 4 small tables at the front and a small room at the back that is not very inviting. We opted to sit at the front but found that the door was left open, making it quite cold. We ordered a falafel sandwich, which was tasty, but the moussaka was disappointing. It resembled more of an aubergine casserole and lacked flavor. The portion size was small and was served with rice and salad, which overpowered the moussaka. The fruit shakes we ordered were the highlight of the meal. It should be noted that not all menu items are available, only fruits in season, which would have been helpful to know when given the menus. Overall, there are likely better dining options in the area.
Do not go to this restaurant!!! My friends and I visited this place hoping for an inexpensive vegetarian meal. The seating was awful, with a small, dark room and dirty tables for groups larger than two. We all received menus, but only one had prices covered with stickers, making the items more expensive. When we asked the waiter about it, he insisted that it was the correct menu. We ordered cheaper appetizers - hummus and an eggplant dish. I saw the man microwave the eggplant, which I didn't mind since I was expecting a wallet-friendly meal. The food came in small portions, with the hummus tasting old and watery. When it was time to pay, the man tried to overcharge us, saying that the prices on the menu were not accurate and that the prices on the board were the correct ones (even though we were not shown the board). He was extremely rude and confrontational when I questioned the difference, insisting that he could charge whatever he wanted. Despite his aggressive behavior, we felt pressured to pay to avoid further issues and left feeling let down and disrespected.
Very unusual place that I've never noticed before. Popped in on a whim! They serve Turkish mezze style dishes and have shisha facilities. Falafel was amazing!
Avoid this place, waited for 45 min to wait for shisha and a plate of chips. We ordered 1 ltr of juice for £5.50, when the shisha did not come nor the chips, we went to pay for the juice. We explained, that we waited for far to long and ask multiple times. Each time we was told 5 minutes. The woman then rolled her eyes and said you need to pay for the chips and shisha. I told her how you expect me to pay for something you did not make. Then she said £8.50 for the juice, i told her the menu said other wise and she said that menu is old and we updated the board at the entrance. I said there is no way I am paying you more for a menu that you gave to me, you should of put these menu's in the bin otherwise. I finally told her that i will report them to the council for malpractice and the consumer right group. She also had a choice that I pay her £5.50 or leave without paying. She finally asked for £5.50. Very stressful for what was supposed to be a relaxing evening. They should just close and let someone else use this space better.
