Pops & Ruby's Tab & Grill - Cambridge

I came here on a Saturday night after reading a review online about the karaoke night. Unfortunately, I have to say that changing to another place ruined my one night of fun a week. We were one of the first tables to be seated, but they started singing before moving on to the second round. As more people arrived, they were added to the rotation. In all the places I've been, this was the worst. I felt sorry for the poor girl waiting to sing, as at least an hour's worth of songs had been added before her name at the end of the rotation. We ended up leaving. On top of that, the service was terrible. The whole room was full of tables and there were no waitresses in sight. The bartenders were extremely rude. I will never come back here.

The initial server we had was outstanding, although there was a change in servers halfway through the evening. The food, from the appetizers to the Chinese dishes, was exceptional. Everyone in our group was pleased with their dinner. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem.

The reviewer found it unsettling that the bartender seemed overly eager to socialize with younger patrons.

It's a dipping. but it is a great place to have fun to play pool, karaoke to sing, annnddd they have the best wings in the city! they are Chinese eating is also good! great eating, cheap drinks, fun times.

Pops and ruby's is a little hidden gem. best wings in town (yeah i know.. ..tempura batter is very tasty and unlike any other places in town that bread etc, etc.
