Langdon Hall Dining Room - Cambridge

My friend and I were absolutely amazed by the incredible dining experience we had last weekend at Langdon Hall. We spent the night in one of the special rooms and enjoyed dinner in the main dining area. To start, we were served delicious bread and creamy ricotta cheese. We shared the scallops appetizer, which the kitchen had thoughtfully divided into two portions; it looked beautiful and tasted even better. For our main courses, I had the cauliflower risotto, which was rich and flavorful, while my friend opted for the bison, which was equally delicious and offered a completely different taste. The menu was truly impressive, and I’m so grateful to have enjoyed such remarkable food. Thank you, Langdon Hall team!

We both ordered the beets and berry appetizer, and we found it to be excellent! I opted for the sablefish, while my partner chose the hunch. Once again, we were both impressed by the mouthwatering flavors of our entrées. Although we had no room for dessert after our coffee and blueberry tea, our server surprised us with a selection of mini muffins and a jellied apricot treat! It was truly a perfect meal. Compliments to the creative chef!

The restaurant offered high-quality food and attentive service, demonstrating a great attention to detail that one would expect from such an establishment. The romantic atmosphere and personalized treatment made our special occasion even more memorable. The wine pairings were excellent, although the food itself was quite traditional, lacking some excitement and unique twists.
