L.a. Burdick Handmade Chocolates

I came in with drinking chocolate expectations from seven years ago and was really eager to relive the thick drinking chocolate experience. Instead, I had something near the consistency of water ? I'm honestly confused about the experience because I expected some variation from last time, but not that extreme. I noticed some other reviews have pointed this out. I'm hopeful that the drinking chocolate can go back to its previous glory.

We found this cute place via Yelp and couldn't have landed on a better place. As you walk in there are twinkly lights everywhere and beautifully decorated chocolate products. We ordered the milk hot chocolate and a chocolate cookie, the perfect pair on a cold day.

Looks like they have their own recipe for hot chocolate I am all for it!! The ginger bread was good too! Would go again!

L.A. Burdick's hot chocolates have a deep and rich flavor that I adore, and the cakes are soft but very flavorful. The atmosphere is also great even though it's small, and the service was quick and kind. Something to note though is that if you want single source hot chocolate, you can only have the one they provide for the day. Regardless, I would 100% recommend it and their cakes to everyone.

If you want to feel fancy this is your place! Cozy atmosphere and everything looked amazing! The Burdick cookie was okay, but the iced dark drinking chocolate was literally like drinking a chocolate bar! Incredible!
