Bidra med feedbackFinally I decided to go to Geppetto for my birthday after hearing about it for years.I found it pretty average. Nothing special and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. We ordered the burrata for appetizer and it was bland and nothing special. The porcini lasagna was ok. It was bland and stuffy. My husband got the NY strip and it was BAD! He asked for medium and it was burnt and oily. Oh boy, the potatoes were baaaad. Dry and chewy. It is hard to make bad potatoes! The desert was ok.In general when I end up paying 200 for 1 app, 2 main courses, 2 glasses of wine and 1 dessert, I expect much better experience. A restaurant that has 4 dollar signs, needs to have a better bathroom and not a bathroom that is like what you find in a dive bar.Service was mediocre and they charge 5% kitchen service fee which is great for the kitchen staff. Also I do not to expect dine with toddlers in an upscale restaurant. The parking is very hard to find so if you have a reservation leave plenty of time for parking spot hunting.
Reserved a table for Valentines day and had to pre-pay $250) for a five-course dinner that was subpar at best. While the service and atmosphere were great, my partner and I were not satisfied by any of the food.
Great cocktails to start, and we felt like something green as an appetizer and had the Brussels sprouts, which were most wonderful! Pasta was also great, the cappelletti being our favorite!
The food was ok. The casareccie were pretty tasty and the pork cutlet wasn't bad although not really Italian. The fritto misto was pretty greasy. The tiramisu was like a marshmallow. And it was expensive. $80 per including a glass of wine. It was quite noisy as well.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Ground floor but the restaurant itself isn't very spacious
Overpriced and the food quality was not what I expected based on ratings and reviews. Our waiter was very inexperienced and his language barrier made the simplest request very challenging. I would not dine here again.
