Bluestone Lane Venice Beach Café

This is a fantastic breakfast spot! I really enjoyed the breakfast bowl; it was a perfect, healthy choice. I was looking forward to the lemon ricotta pancakes, but they didn't quite hit the mark for me, as the bottom was a bit burnt. The coffee was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I loved the overall atmosphere and would definitely consider coming back to try more dishes!

While the food looked appealing, the taste was disappointing. The salad was overly dressed, the poached eggs were overcooked, and the bread was tough. The combination of ingredients and flavors was overwhelming, and not in a pleasant way. I’m giving it 2 stars only because the staff was friendly and polite, and the matcha latte was decent. However, I won’t be returning!

As an Aussie-American couple, we wholeheartedly approve of this Aussie-inspired café! The coffee is excellent, crafted by skilled baristas who serve up a strong brew that is neither bitter nor burnt. The avocado toast is generously topped with avocado, and I was thrilled to see chili flakes and microgreens added as well. Don't miss the halloumi and poached eggs on top! We will definitely be returning!

I ordered the Lemon Ricotta pancakes, and they had a delicate lemon flavor; the pancakes were wonderfully fluffy and beautifully presented. The Impossible burger was fantastic—the bun was great, and the combination of the patty, cheese, and fig jam created a delicious savory flavor. Overall, the food was delicious. I also tried a black nitro coffee, which tasted a bit flat, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. I would recommend this place, especially for catching up on some computer work when it’s less crowded.

The almond croissant I had was the best I've ever tasted! The food is fantastic, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The coffee is amazing, too. It was our first visit, and we were thrilled with everything. We tried the lemon ricotta pancakes and the BL burrito, and everything was a perfect 10/10. I can't wait to return!
