My favorite restaurant in DC. We live in another city and don't get to Washington often, but always come to Zaytinia when we do. Never disappointed!

Food is delicious! The service was impeccable and would go there again everyday if was in DC.

The cauliflower dish was not well cooked, and the scallops were mushy. But it was lovely to be outside and the heaters worked well.

Fun upbeat atmosphere. Great food especially brussels sprouts and lamb and spice pastries. Good responsive service without being cloying.

Jose Andres come back and rescue your restaurant!! I have been a regular customer at Zaytinya practically since the restaurant opened. Unfortunately, I have seen the quality of the dishes deteriorate. For example, the sauce and quality of shrimp down. The pinenuts with the sprouts gone. The octopus dry and not worth it. The original chocolate rose dessert was a work of art now with fake chuncks of brownie and no more fresh rasberry pure, go get it at McDonalds. Bottom line The original recipes have been slowly being modified, but not for the better, instead going down in exquisiteness. Time to slow down your TV appearances Jose, and come back to take your kitchen. A sad admirer………… brought tens to a hundred friends before, not any more.
