Juniper In Wash - Calumet-Norvelt

This is just your average hotel restaurant noting special. It took almost an hour to get our food that was ok but nothing spectacular. Very friendly staff.

I made a reservation for brunch on Easter and confirmed twice. When we arrived (on time), our table wasn't ready so they quickly pushed 3 tables together to fit 6 of us in the HALLWAY outside of the restaurant. Are you kidding me??? When we asked about not eating in the hallway, they told us all the tables inside were reserved. It wasn't like we had walked in off the street. We did NOT feel valued. Once we got a waiter, things went relatively better, just slow and a couple items were never brought. Food was not bad. Definitely try to french toast.

Went for eater brunch we waited 10 minutes to be helped. They food was just ok and were never given the option for the buffet.

Seating was slow even though I had a reservation. Service was incredibly slow. Understand it was a very busy time but we noticed a number of staff but a lack of those that could take orders, refresh drinks, clear plates. Our waiter only took our order, never checked back, and when we asked for our bill we had to follow up with multiple other people before we could get it. There were ants on the floor near our table.

I used to love this place. Unfortunately, the service declined over the years !
