Ella's Wood Fired Kitchen In Wash

I got caught in a heavy rainstorm in DC and happened to come across this restaurant. We decided to stop in for a meal and were pleasantly surprised. The food and drinks were incredibly tasty, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was outstanding. Make sure to visit this place next time you're in DC, rain or shine!

I recently had dinner at the bar and enjoyed a pizza, a couple of drinks, and tiramisu. I only gave the food four stars because I am very particular about tiramisu. Everything else was fantastic. The atmosphere at Ella's is laid-back and the staff is friendly. The bar has a great selection of beer and is clean. The crowd is diverse and the bartender and staff were attentive and kind. I have had bad experiences with bartenders in the past, but the staff at Ella's were exceptional. The wood fire oven pizza was delicious, with the perfect amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings. I highly recommend this place!
