Ordered fish and chips. Fries were great but in my view the fish was not fresh and had an odd taste. My wife tried the fish as well and felt queasy after. Entirely possible that we got unlucky with the choice of fish that day.

I ordered the Govenor's Fish and Chips, delicious. The batter was crisp, the cod was well cooked and flaky, a very large portion of fish. The last bite and I was completely full. Very small portion of mushy peas, but good. Chips were potato wedges but crispy and good. You get a ton. Included is malt vinegar and tartar sauce. So... the tartar sauce was awesome, so so tasty. Will be back. Oh but a can of Coke was $3 and change, pricey.

The sausage roll was fine but a bit underwhelming for the price. The extra 5% ‘service fee’ on the receipt for a to-go pastry was not a fun surprise.

Food was amazing. The best we have ever eaten. Cooked to perfection.
